Goroka is the largest town and provincial capital of the Eastern Highlands Province, with approximately 20,000 inhabitants. It is located on the Highland Highway that runs from Lae to beyond Mt Hagen and at 1600 metres above sea level, has a mild climate with warm days and cool nights.
Goroka is famous for its coffee plantations, however, other industries in the area include trout farms and food gardens.
The town is famous for its annual festival, The Goroka Show, which runs for 2 days each September.

A $300 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking with the balance due no later that 60 days prior to departure.
