This is our comprehensive highlights tour of PNG, which will take you to the Sepik River, Wewak, Madang, Simbai, Goroka, Mt Hagen, Gazelle Peninsula of New Britain and the capital city - Port Moresby. You will see contrasting culture throughout, attend rarely seen cultural rituals and villages practising the same methods from yesteryear. Visit historical World War Two sites, witness the Rabaul Mask Festival, interact with the 'real' PNG people - this is a once in a lifetime chance to see such a vast amount of PNG culture in 14 days.
This kind of escorted soft adventure program is purposely designed for independent travellers who may not normally join group tours. Independent travel in PNG is expensive due to the high overhead costs of remote area transport (boats, charter flights, four wheel drive hire) that are formidable if not shared.
This tour commences on Sunday 2nd July 2017, a day with connections from Singapore, Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns. You return home on Saturday 15th July, or we can extend if you would like to relax for a few more days in one of our beautiful resorts or hotels.
$12,800 per person, twin share. International air and single supplements for hotel accommodation are additional.
